About Therapy Today

Therapy Today is the official journal of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) providing a forum counselling and psychotherapy professionals and those interested in therapy. In addition to features offering insight into a broad range of subjects relevant to therapy practice in all settings, Therapy Today aims to keep readers informed about:

  • - new initiatives affecting the profession
  • - national and international developments
  • - topical news

Therapy Today publishes contributions by key thinkers in counselling and psychotherapy and contributors often engage in cutting edge debates about ethical issues and best practice.

Regular contributions include columns from a client in counselling, a student in training and a practitioner as well as a marketing toolkit and Day in the Life features alongside regular news, letters and book reviews pages.

Unrivalled in its position as the leading large-circulation journal for the profession and read by both practitioners and decision-makers in the field, Therapy Today has established itself as the voice of counselling and psychotherapy as a lively, informative and accessible wide circulation journal.

Therapy Today is published by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy ten times a year, on the 20th of the month (except January and August).
