  • Key retail brands have shown their dedication to Retail Trust by donating £120,000. The last year has been a turbulent time for retail staff and their employers, with the Retail Trust Helpline reporting a 128 per cent increase for its counselling services alone. Nigel JL Rothband, Retail Trust Chief Executive, said, ‘Threats to the retail sector, and therefore retail staff, have never been higher. We need to... act as a safety net for all in retail who need us. ...In the past year we have helped redundant retail staff, those affected by the UK riots, families that have been the victim of tragedies and many more issues. The money raised… will help ...retail staff in need throughout Scotland.’ The Retail Trust Helpline: 0808 801 0808.
